How is the Integrated Helping Professional Coach (IHPC) Certification Program delivered?
The coaching certification program is delivered through Zoom and includes synchronous group sessions and individual coaching observations. All asynchronous content will be delivered via our learning management system.
What is the time commitment for each course?
For the intensive 4-day certification program, participants should plan for a 2-hour synchronous orientation six weeks prior, followed by four consecutive 7.5-hour days, and a 2-hour wrap-up and next steps meeting six weeks after. Participants should also complete 2 hours of asynchronous work per week, including readings, podcasts, practice coaching, and homework, from orientation through the wrap-up meeting.
For the semester-long certification (12 weeks), participants should expect to spend 4-6 hours weekly on synchronous sessions, readings, podcasts, practice coaching, and homework.
What are the attendance requirements for this Program?
- Session Attendance: Participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions to fully meet program requirements and derive maximum benefit from the coach training experience.
- Web Camera Requirement: In order to be counted present, you are required to have your web camera on throughout each live session.
Is this training accredited by the International Coaching Federation?
While the coaching certification offered is not accredited by the International Coaching Federation, participants who complete the program satisfactorily and earn an IHPC certifcation are eligible to apply for the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential through the Portfolio Path. The Portfolio Path is designed for candidates who have completed at least 60 hours of coach-specific education, which may include non-ICF-accredited programs. To qualify for the ACC credential via the Portfolio Path, candidates must also complete 100 hours of coaching experience, 10 hours of mentor coaching, a performance evaluation, and the ICF Credentialing Exam.
What languages is the program offered in?
At this time, we only offer this program in English.
Do you offer information about how to build a coaching business in this program?
One of the modules in the coaching certification program does address some strategies for builidng a coaching business. However, the majority of the curriculum is focused on the coaching model.
How are payments collected for the IHPC Program?

How can I request funding from my employer to participate in the IHPC Program?
We encourage you to explore funding options for the IHPC Program from your employer by either directly asking to cover your payment or by inquiring about professional development budgets, tuition reimbursement programs, or grants. What if I need to withdraw from the program? Do you offer refunds?
If you need to withdraw permanently before the program begins, a full refund will be processed, minus the nonrefundable deposit.
If you need to withdraw permanently after the program has started, a pro-rated refund will be issued based on the date of your withdrawal.
