Level II: Advanced Tools for Integrated Helping Professional Coaching (30 Hours) 

Prerequisite: Level I: Foundations of Integrated Helping Professional Coaching 

Level II of the IHPC training builds upon the foundational knowledge and skills of Level I, offering advanced tools, frameworks, and strategies to deepen participants’ coaching presence, expand their practice, and prepare for professional credentialing. This level supports helping professionals in confidently integrating coaching into a range of settings, refining their personal coaching style, and engaging in deeper, more transformative client work.

Participants will explore a broad array of coaching tools, learn how to structure coaching relationships over time, and develop practices for sustained reflection and skill refinement. Emphasis is placed on alignment with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) core competencies and ethical standards, with specific guidance on preparing for the ACC credential through the ICF Portfolio Path.

Curriculum highlights include:

  • Deepening core coaching competencies through advanced practice and feedback
  • Applying a broader toolkit of coaching strategies (e.g., future self visualization, saboteur/inner critic work, motivational mapping, habit change frameworks)
  • Structuring coaching engagements, including intake, goal-setting, session flow, and closure
  • Integrating coaching with your professional identity and building your coaching niche
  • Developing a coaching log, recording samples, and other documentation for the ICF ACC Portfolio Path
  • Engaging in reflective practice, peer coaching, and supervision to support ongoing development
  • Navigating the steps and requirements for ACC credentialing through the ICF, including mentor coaching and performance evaluation

By the end of Level II, participants will be equipped with the tools, confidence, and guidance to pursue ICF credentialing and integrate coaching more deeply into their helping work.
